Hermann Goring was renowned for his love of cigars, and had these presentation boxes of his favorite brand Gildemann specially made for friends and acquaintances.
This particular box, bearing Goering’s coat of arms, was most likely taken from Berchtesgaden at the end of the war, probably from his home or abandoned train carriages.
Just one cigar remains.
