Fantastic grouping of original photos, taken by Kenneth Lang, 101st Airborne Division, in Berchtesgaden, May 1945. Numerous photos of the destroyed Berghof, main hall of the Eagle’s Nest, Eagle’s Nest fireplace, Stars and Stripes flag over the Eagle’s Nest, Hitler’s giant picture window, Eagle’s Nest elevator tunnel, SS barracks, plus many other intact and wrecked buildings in the area.
Also includes a grouping of very rare original negatives and photos of Hermann Göring at his Rominten hunting lodge in East Prussia. These were also taken by Lang, presumably from Göring’s house on the Obersalzberg.
