The napkin measures 33 cm by 33 cm and is constructed of the absolute finest linen. It is an off white color, with an embroidered border about an inch in from the edges. To the right of the border is a very fine satin edge trim which adds some contrast.
In the center of the napkin is an embroidered Railway eagle. This bird looks to the viewer’s left and clutches a wreathed swastika. The detailing to this embroidery is simply unreal. To the left and right of the wreath are the initials “D” and “R” respectively.
What is really fantastic about this napkin (and completely proves the pedigree) is the number “241” embroidered in white thread on the bottom left corner. Car 241 was no other than Göring’s dining car.
