Certificate of Honorary Citizenship issued to Adolf Hitler on 22 April 1933 during his visit to the town of Metze in the Hessian region, signed by the Burgmeister and other municipal messengers.
Note the back of the frame of two labels of the craftsman who made the frame in Missouri U.S.A and the bending of the certificate, this suggests a probable loot of war of an GI and brought home at the end of the war.
Probably the certificate was removed from the Berghof where we know that a large room was reserved to contain the various certificates and gifts made to the Führer by the various heads of state.
