A rare and early invitation to join Rudolf Hess in Munich on 19 February 1938 for a Fuhrerlchaftstagung der NSDAP, or Leadership Meeting of the NSDAP.
Just three years later, Hess would fly to England, where he intended to arrange peace talks with England. He would remain in jail until his death in 1987, aged 93.
