Third Reich era Munich Beer Hall Stein-This is a .5-liter size. It is very heavy and well made. The script reads “Münchener Bürger-Bräu” with a likeness of the building and the date 1654. This is from the BürgerBräukeller of Munich, built in 1885 and demolished in 1979. This is the beer hall that Hitler gave a lot of his early speeches at in the 1920’s. The graphics are fully intact and quite beautiful. The lid has another likeness of the city and the name of the building. The hinge is maker marked Brüder Thannhauser Munchen. The stein itself is maker marked Merkel, Bach & Wick Grenzhausen.
